This course will exercise your mind to philosophize your everyday experiences. You'll see how society today applies to the ideas of philosophers hundreds of years ago, like Aristotle and Plato. It's an interesting, student-focused class, where all students can succeed. Here are some tips!
~Take notes on main ideas of each philosopher
~Look up words/terms you don't know
~Make connections between philosophers in class and homework
~Participate, and don't be afraid to present criticism
~Visit office hours to help understand an argument
~Highlight/annotate readings
Lastly, never be afraid to schedule WTC appointments with peer tutors or Core writing instructors to help with your work.
